Almost every email I receive in reference to cats has to do with a kidney or bladder problem…either infections or crystals/stones. For dogs it is most often for digestive problems, calcium deposits, yeast infections and kidney/bladder disorders. Directions:

If you see stain or plaque on the teeth: The suggested dosage of The Flying Basset Urtica Urens tincture is one drop per pound of body weight per day…in other words, a ten-pound dog/cat would get ten drops of Urtica Urens in his/her food once a day. If you are dealing with yeast problems: The suggested dosage of The Flying Basset Urtica Urens is one drop for every two pounds of body weight to start...in other words, a fifty-pound dog would start with 25 drops per day in his/her food. After one week if the symptoms of the yeast infection aren't getting any better, then I would increase to one drop per pound of body weight until the dog has some relief; then go back to the original dosage of one drop for every two pounds of body weight until there are no symptoms of the yeast infection. * If your cat/dog shows any signs of scant urine, urinating too frequently, not urinating often enough or urinating in unusual places, then you should dilute Urtica Urens purified water and give with a syringe, dropper or spoon and give one drop of Urtica Urens per one pound of body weight, but increase the number of times you give it to three to four times a day. The reason you want to dilute it in water is to cut the sharp taste of the Urtica Urens. If your cat is in and out of the litter box or your dog is wanting to go out all the time and they are urinating just a couple of drops at a time, not urinating at all, and/or are straining, give the above dosage every 15 minutes until s/he has a normal quantity of urine. If your cat/dog has the above symptoms and does not urinate within two to three hours of giving the Urtica Urens every 15 minutes, you need to go to the veterinarian
