Carb Blocker was designed utilizing the enzyme needed to convert starch to glucose.  Phaseolamin attaches to the carbohydrate molecule. The result is that the complex carbohydrate (sugar) is not broken down into absorbable sugars and simply passes out of the body undigested. If not broken down, these complex carbohydrates will store in the body as glycogen, which is converted into fat. This product is used to pass carbohydrates instead of storing them to develop into fat.
